What are three guidelines to follow when preparing casseroles?
When preparing casseroles, it is important to follow a few guidelines to ensure that they turn out correctly. Here are three tips to remember:
- Make sure all of the ingredients are fully cooked before assembling the casserole. This will help to prevent any uncooked ingredients from ruining the dish.
- Always grease the baking dish before adding the casserole ingredients. This will help to ensure that the casserole does not stick to the dish and makes it easy to remove when finished.
- Bake the casserole for the recommended amount of time. Overbaking can lead to a dry and overcooked dish, while underbaking may leave the casserole ingredients uncooked.
