Why we love this recipe
This dish is a fun and easy recipe that will change up Taco night for your family. This is a twist on an old classic and is packed with all the flavors you love.
Can I use Ground Turkey in place of the ground beef?
Ground turkey would be a healthier alternative to ground beef. The turkey actually gives this a pleasant flavor. However, it is not enough of a difference that it will impact the flavor of the dish.
What type of tortillas should I use?
It is a matter of personal choice. Corn tortillas taste more authentic, however, flour tortillas are the best choice in my opinion. The corn has a stronger flavor.
Can Taco Lasagna be made in advance?
Sometimes it may be best to make dishes ahead of time. This Mexican Taco lasagna is great if you make it a day or two in advance. With this dish, making it a day or two ahead of time allows the flavors to meld together even more.
