What is Lasagna Soup?
This is a homemade soup that tastes just like Lasagna, but it is easier to make and tastes great too. This is all made in one pot.
What kind of pasta should I use for this One Pot Lasagna Soup?
You could actually use any type of pasta you would like. I prefer breaking up actual Lasagna noodles.
Can I cook the pasta in the soup?
Yes, the pasta can be cooked directly in the soup. The pasta should be added in the last 10 to 15 minutes before the soup is going to be ready to serve.
Can I use a different type of meat?
You could use ground beef, turkey or chicken. There are other types of meats that would also work.
What wine pairs well with Lasagna Soup?
When it comes to beef, you could pair red wine with Red meat. One pot Lasagna Soup will pair well with a bottle of Red Wine.
How do I serve One Pot Lasagna Soup?
One Pot Lasagna Soup can be served with Garlic toast, or a salad. Most people will top the soup with cheese, some will put cooked noodles on top.
Ingredients:
- Beef (Ground)
- Italian Sausage (Ground)
- Lasagna Noodles
- Onion (Chopped)
- Pasta Sauce
- Garlic (Minced)
- Chicken Broth
- Tomato Paste
- Diced Tomatoes
- Sugar
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Basil
- Oregano
- Bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Step 1. Add the ground beef, onion, and sausage to a large pot over medium-high heat, and cook until completely browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2. Return the pot to the stove, and mix in the garlic. Saute for 30 seconds.
Step 3. Pour in the pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken broth, sugar, balsamic vinegar, basil, oregano, bay leaf, and salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4. Cover and bring to a boil.
Step 5. Break the lasagna noodles into pieces, and place them in the pot.
Step 6. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook until the noodles have softened.
Step 7. Top with parmesan cheese, mozzarella, or ricotta, and serve.

This rich and creamy one pot lasagna soup recipe is loaded with delicious Italian flavors which makes it the perfect comfort food on a cold winter day.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef, Ground
- 1 lb Italian Sausage, Ground
- 10 Lasagna Noodles
- 1 Onion, Chopped
- 24 oz Jar of Pasta Sauce
- 4 tsp Garlic, Minced
- 8 cup Chicken Broth
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 14 oz Can Diced Tomatoes
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tsp Basil
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 Bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
