- oil
- minced garlic
- shrimp
- cooked white rice
- peas and carrots
- soy sauce
- sesame oil
- egg
- green onions

How to make Shrimp Fried Rice:
Step 1. Wash and rinse your shrimp and set to the side.
Step 2. Cook your white rice as directed, and set it to the side.
Step 3. Place a medium skillet over medium heat, and add the oil and minced garlic.
Step 4. Stir the garlic for 1 minute, until fragrant.
Step 5. Add the peas mixture and shrimp to the saute pan and toss to combine, cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6. In a small bowl add your sesame oil and soy sauce, and stir to combine.
Step 7. Stir in the white rice and soy sauce sesame mixture.
Step 8. Sauté for 4 minutes.
Step 9. Push rice shrimp mixture to one side of the skillet.
Step 10. Add the egg to the saute pan and stir the egg constantly until almost fully cooked, then fold into rice mixture.
Step 11. Garnish with green onions.

Shrimp Fried Rice
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. mince garlic
- 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 2 cups of frozen peas and carrots, defrosted
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 large egg, whisked
- 2 tbsp. Sliced green onions

Instructions

Storage Instructions:

Variations and Substitutions:
The great thing about shrimp fried rice recipes is you can mix and match what you use in them. This recipe suggests peas, carrots and green onion but you can use any fresh vegetables you want, such as sliced fresh mushrooms or canned or frozen corn kernels. Use coconut aminos in place of the soy sauce if you like, or add a small pinch of Chinese 5-spice powder.
