How To Make Bourbon Chicken

Step 1: Begin by making sure the chicken is dry. Use a paper towel to pat it dry then set it aside.
Step 2: Pour in the apple juice, bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, honey, red pepper flakes, garlic, and ginger into the instant pot. Mix well to combine.
Step 3: Add the chicken to the instant pot and be sure to coat all of the pieces, so they’re covered in the bourbon sauce. Next, add in all of the vegetables on top of the chicken. Add the lid to the pot and turn the release valve to the sealing position.

- Prep your chicken and pat dry, set to the side.

- Secure the lid to your pressure cooker, and turn the release valve on top to sealing.
- Set the Instant Pot on manual.
- Set the timer for 12 minutes.
- In a small bowl mix your cornstarch and cold water.

- Then do a quick release.
- Remove the chicken and vegetables and set to the side.
