Salisbury Steak Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients for Salisbury Steak Mushroom Gravy:
Steak:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef, or cube beef tenderloins
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
2 large Eggs, room temp
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic salt
2 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp. Ground pepper
3 tbsp cooking oil
Mushroom Gravy:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1Tbsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. Italian seasonings
1/2 cup flour
3 cup beef broth
kosher salt
black pepper
How to make Salisbury Steak Mushroom Gravy:
Step1. If using ground beef, add the steak ingredients to a large bowl, mix to combine.
Step2. Make the ground beef into 4 individual oval patties
Step3. In a large pan add the oil, and heat over medium-high heat.
Step4. When the oil is hot, add the beef patties to the skillet.
Step5. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
Step6. Remove the patties and set to the side.
Step7. In the same skillet with the juices, add the mushrooms and onion and cook over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes.
Step8. Cook the onion mushroom mixture until golden brown.
Step9. Add the flour into the skillet with the mushrooms onions, and stir until there are no more lumps of flour.
Step10. Gradually add the beef stock to the mushroom mixture, whisk until combined.
Step11. Raise the stovetop temperature to high heat, whisk to incorporate.
Step12. Once the gravy begins to boil, reduce the heat to low.
Step13. Allow the gravy to simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 14. Place the Salisbury steak patties back in the pan with the gravy and cook for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Then Serve with mashed potatoes.
