Healthy and Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe

Smoothies are a great idea when you want to have a quick and easy breakfast, but they can also work great for dessert. With this peanut butter banana smoothie recipe, you get a healthy breakfast that tastes simply amazing. You will want to make this smoothie all the time.

Can you freeze smoothies?

If you want to have smoothies are on and don’t want to worry about having the ingredients on hand when you want to make it, you can make smoothies ahead of time and freeze the premade smoothie. Store the smoothies in individual bags, make sure they are the serving size you want per smoothie. This will make it easy to have a smoothie on hand whenever you want it but does not make you thaw all fo the smoothies at once. Once you remove it from the freezer, add it to the blender one more time to break it up and make it drinkable. If you like your smoothies extra cold and frozen, this is a great way to have it. If the smoothie is too thick, you can let it sit for a short time or add more almond milk.

Do I have to Make This a Greek Yogurt Smoothie

I like to use Greek Yogurt in my smoothies. It adds extra protein to the smoothie and I like the taste that it gives a smoothie. However, if you do not like Greek yogurt or don’t have to have it on hand, you can substitute for regular yogurt, or even leave it out if you don’t like the taste of yogurt.

Can I leave the banana out of this peanut butter smoothie?

If you are making this peanut butter smoothie, and you either do not have bananas on hand or do not like the taste of the bananas, you can keep the banana out. By omitting the banana, however, the smoothie will not be as thick. If the smoothie needs to be thicker, you can thicken it by adding more fruit or you can blend ice into the smoothie. If you want the smoothie thinner, you can just leave it the way it is.
