How to store and reheat German Potato Pancakes?
You will want to store your potato pancakes in an airtight container or a sealed bag in the fridge. Just let the pancakes cool a bit before you go and refrigerate them.
Then to reheat you can warm it in a skillet on the stovetop, or for a quick reheat do the microwave. Either method works well, but you will find a skillet will get your potatoes somewhat crispy again, whereas the microwave will be a bit soggier.

After your pancakes have cooled you can flash-freeze the German potato cakes on a cookie sheet. Then place in a freezer container or freezer bag and freeze for 3-4 months. Then thaw in the fridge overnight and reheat in the oven, microwave, or a skillet on the stovetop.
Can I make this German Potato Pancakes recipe in advance?
I recommend making these fresh as you will find if you are using freshly grated potatoes they will brown pretty fast once the air touches them. So you will find prepping them right before serving instead of in advance is best.
