How to serve Three Cheese Beef Lasagna?
Allow the lasagna to set for at least 10 minutes prior to serving. Some possible side dishes to serve alongside could be a lettuce salad and breadsticks or crusty garlic bread.
Tips:
If you like a softer lasagna, omit the final 5 minutes of baking with the foil removed. This is what crisps the noodles and top layer of cheese.
Let the lasagna set at least 10 minutes before serving to firm up. This allows it to slice much easier.
Variations:
- Vegetarian lasagna – replace the ground beef with tofu, carrots, peppers, zucchini, or any combination of your favorite vegetables
- Meat lovers – add sausage and pepperoni along with the ground beef
- Love meat and vegetables – add carrots and green peppers to the meat mixture
