2 lb. Ground beef

3 C. Pasta or tomato sauce divided

12 Lasagna noodles cooked to al dente

2 C. Shredded provolone cheese

2 C. Shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make It

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. While your oven is preheating, you can begin preparing the lasagna in your baking or casserole dish.

Step 2. Add ½ cup of your preferred tomato or meat sauce to the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.

Step 3. Layer 4 of the lasagna noodles on the sauce.

Step 4. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until completely browned. Step 8. Add another layer of lasagna noodles, followed by the other ½ of the meat and ⅓ of the cheese.

Step 9. Place one more row of lasagna noodles on top and cover with the remaining sauce and cheese.

Step 10. Bake for 30 minutes. Once the lasagna is cooked through, broil for 1 to 2 minutes on high for a golden brown crust (optional).
